AIR AMBULANCE
A safer way to travel when medical needs rule out standard transport.
Air ambulance charter provides a dedicated medical flight solution
for patients who need to travel with professional medical support.
It is used when a patient is too unwell, injured or medically vulnerable to travel comfortably on a standard commercial flight, or when a faster and more controlled transport solution is required.
JETX28 arranges air ambulance and medical evacuation flights through qualified aviation and medical partners. Depending on the patient’s condition and the route, flights may be operated by dedicated air ambulance aircraft, medically equipped private jets or turboprops.
Medical aircraft can be equipped with a stretcher, oxygen, monitoring equipment and specialist medical support, depending on the case requirements.
A medical crew may include a doctor, nurse or paramedic team, based on the patient’s condition and the level of care required during the flight.
How It Works
You provide the route, patient location, destination, preferred timing and basic medical information.
This may include the patient’s condition, mobility level, oxygen requirements, medical escort needs and whether stretcher transport is required. The patient’s treating doctor must also provide a medical statement confirming the patient’s condition and whether they are medically fit to travel by air.
The medical and aviation teams then review the case and confirm the most suitable aircraft, equipment and crew. They also assess airport access, ground ambulance coordination, medical clearance, documentation and any operational requirements.
Once confirmed, the flight is coordinated from departure to arrival, including aircraft preparation, medical equipment, crew planning and ground transfers where required.
When Air Ambulance May Be Used
Air ambulance flights may be suitable for medical repatriation, hospital transfers, post-surgery travel, injury recovery, elderly or vulnerable passengers, patients requiring oxygen, stretcher transport or medical supervision, and urgent international medical movements.
Each case is reviewed individually, as the final solution depends on the patient’s medical condition, route, timing, aircraft availability and medical approval.
Tailored Medical Flight Support
Medical travel requires careful coordination and discretion. JETX28 works with experienced air ambulance and medical aviation partners to help arrange a safe, efficient and well-managed journey for the patient and accompanying family members.
